HUNDREDS of people took part in yesterday’s ride in memory of Ryan Thomson.

The 22-year-old died in July after a motorcycle accident in St Saviour’s.

His best friend, Becci Clements, 22, organised yesterday’s event, which saw about 400 people turn up.

‘We held it to raise money and awareness of the Thomson Memorial Trust,’ she said.

‘It is hoped the charity will help others in the same situation as Ryan’s family. I am really pleased so many people came along. It was really good. There were cars full of people, as well as vans, quads and bikes.’
