Third of GTA board steps down

FIVE of 13 directors who have served on the Guernsey Training Agency’s board for a combined total of 50 years have resigned.
The university centre’s chief executive Professor Richard Conder (pictured), has simultaneously announced that he will retire at the end of January.
He said the joint resignation of five ‘key’ board members – Dame Mary Perkins, Martyn Mann, Keith Dorrian, Chris Bound and Dudley Jehan – was a ‘huge loss’ to the ‘governance and strategic management of the agency’.
‘Each one has served the GTA in a unique way and it has been a much better place for their involvement,’ he said.
