Simpson faces Matthew in Manchester

CHRIS SIMPSON goes up against the creme de la creme tonight having qualified for the main draw at the Rowe British Grand Prix.
The Guernseyman (pictured) faces top seed Nick Matthew, who had spent four months of the year ranked number one in the world before he slipped one place this month, in the first round of the $92,500 PSA Super Series event at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.
āIām looking forward to the occasion and seeing how I match up against the best,ā Simpson said.
The 23-year-old Sarnian made it through to his first Super Series event of the year thanks to a couple of 3-0 victories in qualifying.
