Mapley leads the way at Petit Bot

JOHN MAPLEY returned to the winner’s rostrum in round four of the Guernsey Velo Club’s Holeshot Downhill Mountain Bike Series.
The local rider made the most of Jersey-resident Rich Payne’s absence to take the senior honours at Petit Bot.
The course at Petit Bot is a favourite of many of the riders and has been used in the downhill series since the first Guernsey downhill back in 1998.
Over the years, different variations of the course have been used taking in all types of terrain and obstacles the valley has to offer.
