Sylvans 0, Rangers 3
RANGERS did enough to get the job done last night at the Track as they cruised past Sylvans into tomorrow afternoon’s Rawlinson Cup semi-finals.
They easily came out on top of what was a quite dreadful game at times, not helped by Sylvans’ sheer woefulness throughout.
With a near full-strength team at coach Dave Gilman’s disposal, minus injured midfielder Matt Le Prevost, it was very worrying for the side from St Peter’s, who will struggle to avoid bottom spot on this showing.
Saying that, Rangers were only slightly better in what was easily the most boring opening 45 minutes of the season thus far, with neither goalkeeper really being called upon to make a testing save.
