Uefa spill beans
Saturday 18th September 2010, 2:30PM BST.
SOME of Tony Vance’s future plans for his island team have been revealed after Uefa released the 30-man Guernsey squad originally selected for the Uefa Regions Cup.
Although the squad that will travel to Croatia next week is made up of 18 players, Vance (pictured) had to name a provisional pool from which that final decision was made, the make-up of which had previously been unknown.
But now it has been released on the Uefa website, it shows the players who narrowly missed out on Croatia selection.
There are no real shock omissions from that 30, with Chris Tardif, Angus Mackay, Scott Bougourd and Luke Winch the most likely quartet to push for Muratti selection next May.
