COMEDIAN Jim Tavare got the crowds laughing at the Guernsey Adult Literacy Project variety show – by being Jimi Hendrix with a double bass.
The English stand-up, actor and musician had come over especially to take part in the evening of entertainment.
Using the instrument as a prop he proceeded to delight the audience using sound effects and tunes to illustrate funny situations.
The event aimed to raise money for Galp, which helps people develop their literacy skills.
