Rat Packers no match for Gremlins

Mick Le PrevostGRAHAM PEEL’S new Rat Pack team made a losing start to life in the Image Group Premier snooker Division.

Two successes in the team knockouts had provided the early season practice for the Ex-Service outfit, but a winning start in the league was too much to ask against La Villette Hotel Gremlins.

With the defending champions enjoying home advantage, it was little surprise that captain John Skillett opened with himself and Martyn Desperques against a side destined to be in the top three come the end.

Desperques yielded little to recent North football manager Mick Le Prevost (pictured) , who of the Rat Pack four has been longest out of the game, with breaks of 30-plus, 45 and 70 bringing him all three frames.
