New president Fears sets out GNA battle plans

‘DRIVE netball forward’ is the battle-cry from the new Guernsey Netball Association president as systems are put in place to ensure vastly improved standards.
Jane Fears (pictured) took up the post in August and knew that something had to be done about the state of the game within the island.
Guernsey’s poor performance in March’s inter-insular was a major wake-up call and now there are plans afoot to change the fortunes of the sport.
‘Our main objective was to appoint a new development officer to replace the retiring Gill Queripel,’ said Fears.
