Decision on Games team by tomorrow
Thursday 23rd September 2010, 2:30PM BST.
GUERNSEY will pull out of the Commonwealth Games if there is any chance of its athletes being in danger, the man in charge of the island team has said.
David Harry (pictured) set off for India yesterday to check out the area and facilities in New Delhi.
His findings will determine whether the Guernsey team takes part.
The chef de mission confirmed the island could withdraw if international media reports of unsanitary living conditions in the athletes’ village, unsafe facilities and a lack of security are true.
