It’s drinks for diners only as Carlton waits for full licence
Friday 24th September 2010, 2:29PM BST.
ALCOHOL is back on the menu at the Carlton Plaza – for diners only.
The Plaza, which includes The Wicked Wolf pub and The Godfather restaurant, lost its licence two weeks ago.
Proprietor John Carpenter yesterday went to court to reinstate part of the licence so that alcohol can be served with food.
It will be another three weeks before a special Royal Court liquor licensing hearing can be convened and a full licence granted.
Mr Carpenter (pictured) put the temporary loss of licence down to a glitch and said customers had been bringing their own alcohol with them in the meantime.
