NERINE A rose to the challenge of their former teammates in their first game of what promises to be a very competitive Winter League netball season.

The team, who have won Division One for 11 years running, beat the newly-formed Resolution IT by nearly 20 goals but they were forced to work for it.

It was a tough first game for both teams, whose players are coming back after the long summer break.

From the first whistle it was obvious that both teams meant business.
