GUERNSEY’S dream of progressing to the next round of the Uefa Regions Cup came to an end this afternoon with defeat at the hands of the Turkish team of Ankara.
A win or a score-draw was needed for the team to progress.
The game was marred by the sending off of Guernsey goalkeeper Tom Le Tissier, with Richard Davey taking over just before the half-time whistle.
