NOW in its ninth year, the Bowmen of Guernsey hosted a world record status shoot over two days at its Port Soif headquarters.

Archers travelled from Jersey, Alderney, England and Wales to compete in an event that is well known as a well organised and friendly shoot.

And, for the first time, the shoot welcomed four archers from the newly-formed Archers de Sercq, who are preparing to send a team to next year’s Island Games for the first time.
