It’s Britain in Bloom gold for St Peter’s but victory must wait
Thursday 30th September 2010, 2:29PM BST.

St Peter's resident Steve Wilson, centre, shows Britain in Bloom judges Andrew Jackson and John Woodward around his own garden in August.
ST PETER’S has won gold for its Britain in Bloom entry, but missed out on topping the large village category.
Six members from the St Peter’s Floral Group attended last night’s awards ceremony in Birmingham.
Group member Marguerite Talmage said they were pleased with the gold award.
‘We are thrilled,’ she said.
‘It has been fabulous. The atmosphere here is buzzing and everyone is enjoying themselves.’
