Silver for Carl

SARKEE Carl Hester has won a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games.
The British quartet of Hester, Fiona Bigwood, Maria Eilberg and Laura Bechtolsheimer came second to the Netherlands in a close fought battle for medals in the team dressage event in Kentucky, USA.
Hester (pictured) , riding Liebling II, was first to go for GB on day two and posted a score over then magic 70% barrier – a 72.128 that put his team in serious contention.
‘I’m over the moon,’ he said.
