A SIX-WEEK series of road closures along Forest Road and Les Cornus will cause major problems for residents and staff of a residential home.

Care manager of Les Nicolles Lodge Kerri Le Moigne said that bus diversions would make life hard for residents who were less mobile.

She added that staff would struggle to get to work on time because of the disruption.

‘It is going to cause major problems for us,’ she said. ‘A lot of the residents’ only form of transport is the bus and some of them will not be able to walk to the next-nearest stop.’
