IT WAS a long time in coming after several protests about the faulty electronic targets, but the Jory brothers finally secured fourth place for Guernsey in the men’s pairs full bore open.
Their total of 288 points in stage three (900 and 1,000yds) took them onto a score of 580, just four points behind bronze medal position.
In the singles, Adam scored a total of 383 points to earn 19th place, while Peter was not far behind in 22nd on 378.
The jury of appeal caused a long delay yesterday, with many teams complaining that the targets were faulty. Guernsey themselves had their own protests upheld.
