Le Rondin’s fund-raiser for new tricycles suits Jenson
Friday 15th October 2010, 2:29PM BST.
THE race is on to own a piece of Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button’s sporting success.
Fans of the defending F1 champion have the chance to get their hands on his racing suit for the price of a £1 raffle ticket.
The race ace (pictured), who moved to Guernsey earlier this year, has donated the suit, along with a host of other racing memorabilia, to help Le Rondin School raise funds for specially-adapted equipment.
Parents, staff and the friends’ association at the special needs school near his Forest home need £20,000 to pay for tricycles for the pupils.
The raffle tickets go on sale there tomorrow between 9am and 1pm.
