CRAIG YOUNG (pictured) has committed his future to Bels amid fierce speculation of a player crisis at the Track and a belief that he was set to re-join North.
After island captain Sam Cochrane’s decision to hand in a transfer request earlier in the week to move to Northfield, it will leave the Division One champions short of the island stars they began the season with.
As well as Cochrane, midfielder Scott Bradford has already departed to St Martin’s during the summer, while Dave Rihoy is out long-term with a knee injury.
Therefore, Young’s pledge will come as welcome news to the champions, as they prepare for today’s Wheway Cup clash in Jersey against St Clement.
