AFTER a whole lot of preparation the annual two-day motocross event drew good crowds and a bumper entry to Pleinmont.

A maximum of 93 entries included riders from Jersey, Alderney and, for the first time, France, who entertained with some large jumping and exciting racing in all the classes.

With a prompt start the automatic riders were the first to see the gates drop.

Jersey rider Adam Godwin was unstoppable in winning each of his races, followed by fellow Jersey lad Connor Gautron in second and Guernsey’s Ethen Brehaut in third. The other two Guernsey riders were Tyler King and Owen Waddingham.
