MORE than 600 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers linked up with girls around the world yesterday evening to celebrate 100 years of Girlguiding.
The Vision party at Beau Sejour was the culmination of a year’s fund-raising and celebrations and gave the girls a chance to reflect on their promise to help others.
At 8.10pm, the girls joined Guides around Britain via a video link as Chief Guide Liz Burnley led them in a renewal of their vows.
Public relations adviser Yvonne Le Page said she was delighted with how well the evening had come together.
