Priaulx fastest in Oz practice

ANDY PRIAULX was fastest in the first test ahead of this weekend’s Armor All Gold Coast 600 in Surfers Paradise.

The test at the Queensland Raceway, just down the road from the street circuit, was to give the 18 international drivers a chance to familiarise themselves with the V8 Supercar machines.

‘It was nice to get back behind the wheel of one of these machines ahead of our first real test on the street track on Friday,’ said Priaulx (pictured).

‘The conditions were mixed with a wet and dry track, but this gave me the chance to get back into the groove where these cars are concerned.’
