Rosumek beats 15-year-old record set by Strobridge
Thursday 21st October 2010, 2:29PM BST.
TEN-year-old Hannah Rosumek set a brilliant new record in the 200m breaststroke event of the 2010 Specsavers Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club.
The record, which was set 15 years ago by Gail Strobridge, now stands at 3-27.96.
Rosumek (pictured) swam just outside her personal best, but was still over 20 seconds inside the Hampshire County qualifying time for this event.
The fastest times of the day came from the 16-plus age group with Joshua Lewis and Victoria Parfit recording 2-31.32 and 2-49.75 respectively.
