Who will follow Richard and Heather? Nominations are open

Heather Watson The Guernsey Press is calling for nominations for its 2010 Guiton Ambassador of the Year award.

Awarded annually by the newspaper’s owners, the Guiton Group, it is presented to the individual or group that has gone the extra mile to promote Guernsey’s name beyond the Bailiwick. It forms part of the island’s annual Awards for Achievement ceremony.

Past winners include three-times World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx, artist Eric Snell and tennis star Heather Watson (pictured) , who won the award last year.

People can be nominated from across the board, in areas such as culture, sport, community work or education.
