Priaulx not in Oz for the fun

IT MAY be time off from world touring cars duty, but Andy Priaulx is certainly not underestimating the Surfers Paradise course on the Gold Coast of Australia.
It is there that he is racing this weekend in the Armor All Gold Coast 600 race, part of the V8 Supercars Australia series.
He started off the weekend by being the fastest international driver in practice and sixth overall, which included the regular season drivers.
And he admits that a natural competitive instinct means that extra events like these can never be considered light-hearted.
