ALICE LOVERIDGE has put yet another title on her table tennis CV after her sensational success at the Senior Six Nations in the Isle of Man.

The 16-year-old (pictured) beat competition from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the hosts to claim gold in what is easily the highlight of her still fledgling career.

Seeded number one for the 12-strong singles event, she beat English number three Emma Vickers 3-1 in the final, capping off an unbeaten run through the group stage and knockout rounds.

‘I was quite surprised to be the number one seed, to be honest. It was done on the international rankings and the other girls haven’t that much international experience,’ she said.
