Moriarty’s holeshots help him to MX2 win

HAMISH MORIARTY stood out on a day where riders had to battle the elements in an exciting day’s racing in the latest championship meeting at Pleinmont.

Moriarty won both races in the popular MX2 class, after taking the holeshots in both, beating Brett Pearce, Robert Campbell and Mark de la Mare.

Afterwards, Moriarty was satisfied with the way his day went.

‘I won both of my races, so yeah, I’ve done alright,’ he said.

‘When you are leading, it is a case of keeping a safe distance in front, which I did.’
