SAM COCHRANE will face the sternest of North senior debuts tonight as his new team entertain St Martin’s in a mouth-watering league clash.
The island captain played the full 120 minutes of his new side’s Mauger Cup clash on Tuesday against Vale Rec, North’s second string eventually prevailing 3-1, with Cochrane excellent throughout.
And after losing their last two league matches, coupled with injuries to Jack Domaille and Alex Le Prevost, it seems certain that Cochrane will start tonight against the title favourites and the only team with a 100% record.
If he does he will be delighted to get off the mark for the chocolate-and-blues.
