NORTH’S long-term plans have been given a boost after the announcement that they have bought the former Les Effards Vinery.
The six-figure deal sees the Grand Fort Road club purchase land as far back as the now one-way Les Effards road, as well as much of the area behind the current clubhouse.
The plan for the club is to turn some of the extra area into a three-quarter-size pitch, as well as having the rest of it for minis training facilities and an additional car park.
It will also involve work around the Baubigny and Les Effards area, with a one-way road system around the club and a footpath, which is already in use by St Sampson’s High.
