Buy nifty 50 for safe growth – expert’s advice

BIG global brands with a strong foothold in Asian and emerging markets are the way forward for investors, according to fund expert Guy Monson (pictured).

The Sarasin & Partners chief investment officer, who was in the island to present his six-month update to local clients and interested parties, said he believed there was too much risk in investing there directly.

A large part of that, he said, was down to the extra liquidity swirling around the system because of further quantitative easing measures.

‘Liquidity created in the West to go into the Western banking market is actually leaking into the asset markets of the Eastern world as investors and businesses hunt for yield and investment opportunities.’
