Le Prevost doubt for under-21s

MATT LE PREVOST looks to be a major doubt for this weekend’s under-21 ‘Muratti’ in Jersey after picking up a freak injury at the weekend.

The Sylvans centre-midfielder (pictured) was struck on the wrist by a stray ball from teammate Wayne Bishop during the warm-up of their Stranger Cup match against Athletics on Saturday, a game that Sylvans, minus Le Prevost, eventually lost 3-2.

It is still unclear whether there is significant damage, with only five days before the Ambassadeur Bowl clash against the Caesareans at Springfield and the youngster admits that he is ‘50-50’ for the big match.
