Gallienne rues a missed opportunity in Jersey

THREE times world bar billiards champion Trevor Gallienne fell to the new champion at the Spearpoint-sponsored 2010 event at the Merton Hotel in Jersey.

Gallienne (pictured) fought his way through a field of 160 to reach the semi-finals.

However, it was at this point he came unstuck against Brighton’s Jim Millward, who was to go on to beat Jersey’s Graham Bisson in the final to land his fourth crown.

As is usual in this unique knockout competition, some very big names bit the dust in the early stages.
