THE GMC&CC hosted the second round of the 2010-11 Guernsey trials championship around the Portelet area.

With conditions midweek, and the day before the trial, wet and windy, riders were in for a hard day’s graft. But the weather passed over, drying the land sections nicely.

The juniors, who were riding on land just up from Portelet kiosk, were first to tackle their sections with seven juniors riding.

James Rihoy won the cadets class comfortably, with Aimee Sarre taking second.

The intermediates class was won by Louis Waterman, who had no competition this time but continues to improve.
