Simpson out in semis
Monday 15th November 2010, 2:29PM GMT.
CHRIS SIMPSON could not repeat his feat of a week earlier at the Baltimore Cup.
The Guernseyman was the number one seed at the PSA Tour one-star event, as he had been when claiming the title at the BC Open in Canada seven days previously, but was knocked out by Adrian Waller in straight sets in the semi-finals.
‘I played a really bad match, mentally I just wasn’t there,’ Simpson said. ‘I found it hard to get back up to the same intensity that I had last week and gave my opponent far too many cheap points.’
