Bels 1, Rangers 1 (a.e.t. Bels won 4-2 on penalties)
CRAIG FARNHAM certainly seems to have the Midas touch in the Stranger Cup.
Last season he scored the late winner as Athletics won the competition and he was at it again last night, albeit from the penalty spot as his new club Bels progressed at the expense of Rangers after what can best be described as an attritional 120 minutes.
His coolly taken kick followed similar efforts from Craig Young, Ollie Smith and Charlie Pinsard, with misses from Ross Allen and Dale Garland the difference in the shootout.
For Allen, it capped a frustrating night as despite getting on the score sheet with a tap in from a Garland effort, he found the woodwork to be his nemesis, first in normal time and then from 12 yards.
