DO YOU recognise this mystery man? If so, Jersey Police want to hear from you.

The force yesterday launched an international appeal to try and identify a body that was washed up on the beach at Havre des Pas more than two years ago.

Experts have reconstructed an electronic version of how the man might have looked to help find clues as to his identity.

They have drawn up three different images.

The remains of the man’s body were found on 21 February 2008, but did not match any missing person reports locally.

Anyone with information about who the man might be should email the Jersey Police at OperationCobra@jersey.pnn.police.uk
