Specsavers’ new data centre has space to get even bigger

A NEW data centre at Specsavers is now operational.
The facility contains all the information needed to keep the business running, the equivalent of 160,000 CD-Roms.
‘After months of planning and hard work, we are delighted that we now have the infrastructure to support the rapid growth of our business,’ said chief information officer John Lister.
‘This major investment shows our commitment to Guernsey. We now have more than 1,560 stores worldwide, but Guernsey is still the centre of our operations.’
