CALLUM EBORALL was unlawfully killed when he tried to cross Les Banques in May 2009, a judge ruled yesterday.

At the closing of the inquest into the 11-year-old’s death, Judge Philip Robey recorded a verdict of unlawful killing.

He said his conclusion took into account the conviction of a 17-year-old for causing death by dangerous driving.

The inquest was opened on 1 June 2009, at which time Callum’s body was released for burial or cremation.

Callum was crossing the St Sampson’s road at 9.30pm on Friday 15 May when he was hit by a motorcycle being ridden by the juvenile, who was 16 at the time.
