ERICA BODMAN’S promising rowing career continued with victory in the GB Rowing Trials Sculling Assessment at Caversham Lake last Wednesday

The Sarnian finished third in the time trial and admitted to being disappointed with her performance, feeling she did not row it particularly well technically.

She learned lessons from that and took them into the semi-final, which she won with relative ease, and was expected to compete for first place in the final with the other two semi-final winners Emily Taylor and Vicky Meyer-Laker.
