Champions beat leaders to close gap at the top

LA VILETTE HOTEL GREMLINS reignited their dwindling campaign for the Image Group Premier Division title with a crucial victory over leaders Gremlin Galacticos.
Captain John Skillett admitted that it was a must-win match for them and his team responded to the call with a deserved 8-4 success.
Martyn Desperques and Martin Budge got the defending champions off to a flier by winning the opening three frames.
Fresh from his twin centuries the week before, Desperques met Silvi Magloire in Adrian Lihou’s absence, but did not have things all his own way to begin with.
