Maria hopes to show Portugal she has X Factor

A SINGER with strong local connections is in the top seven of Portugal’s version of The X Factor, Idolos.
Maria Bradshaw, 20, has visited Guernsey every year since she was a child as her father David, 58, lives in the island.
During the summer she worked locally, most recently as a waitress at Christies, where her dad also performs as a singer and guitarist.
But now Miss Bradshaw (pictured), a musical production student, is a finalist on the popular Portuguese talent show.
