GUERNSEY should have a day off for the royal wedding despite the cost to business, according to Chamber of Commerce president Julian Winser.

Prince William and fiancee Kate Middleton have announced that they will marry on Friday 29 April in Westminster Abbey.

Mr Winser said it would be important to use the day to celebrate.
