LES Beaucamps High will be rebuilt.

Applause rang out at the end of yesterday’s debate after the States voted through £37m. to complete the project, which will cater for up to 660 pupils.

Education minister Carol Steere attended a prizegiving for Year 11 pupils at the school last night where she was able to deliver the news.

The project was unanimously supported, but the department faced criticism during debate.
