Horton under the knife in bid to beat hay fever

TOBYN HORTON has gone under the knife in a bid to improve his prospects as a professional cyclist.
The Guernseyman is back in the island preparing for his first training camp with his new team, Motorpoint Pro Cycling, which will take place in Lanzarote beginning on 12 December.
But, looking at the long-term, the two-times Commonwealth Games rider revealed that last month he had surgery in an attempt to sort out some nasal difficulties which have hampered him in the past.
‘I had an operation on my nose just a couple of days after getting back [from Delhi] because I have had breathing and allergy problems in the past,’ said the 24-year-old.
