THE Sureskate rink began to take shape yesterday.
Everything Ice started work on Thursday evening and were laying the floor yesterday with 45ft trucks bringing in the equipment used to set up the rink.
Company managing director James Evans said Guernsey was one of the most challenging sites to set up in the UK because of access.
‘We are trying to keep it as unobtrusive to the public and businesses as possible,’ he said
‘That is why we have fenced ourselves in – and to keep the public safe.’
