Ogier turns down five clubs

FORMER island boss Steve Ogier (pictured) has spurned advances from five of the remaining seven senior GFA clubs in the fortnight since Athletics folded with the intention of merging with Rovers.
But yesterday he confirmed he is not going to take up any of the options available to him and is going to take a rest from the game for an unspecified period.
Rovers had still harboured hopes that he would join them in a purely coaching role, but that is not going to be for the time being.
āIām not going to do anything. In fact, I might not be doing anything for the rest of the season,ā said the former Tics boss.
