FAMILIES and friends of Les Bourgs Hospice patients were invited to remember their loved ones at a service at Les Cotils yesterday.

More than 100 people attended the Light up a Life service at which people were invited to write in with names of loved ones they wished to remember.

These were then laminated and hung on two trees, lit up for the service, which was led by the Rev. Jonathan Le Tocq in the Harry Bound Room.

‘It is a very informal service to remember people who have had need to use the hospice, whether it be friends, family or loved ones,’ said organiser and chairman of the Friends of Les Bourgs Jack Honeybill.
