Guernsey on the move after the perfect weekend
Wednesday 15th December 2010, 2:29PM GMT.
GUERNSEY enjoyed one of their best weekends in recent times and both sides were propelled to second place in their respective British League divisions.
In Division One South & Midlands, the Sportingbet-sponsored Guernsey first team produced some high quality table tennis, ensuring that they won all four of their encounters.
The weekend’s opening fixture against Ashford I ended as a 5-3 victory, the closest match of the weekend.
Phil Ogier (pictured) was instrumental in this victory, winning both of his matches against tricky defender Kory Ozcan and Ramesh Bhalla without dropping a single leg.
