Shorto’s record caps brilliant year

HISTORY has been made with Adam Shorto hitting a remarkable 134 break to shatter the island snooker record.
Facing Rick de Garis, the previous best of 128 by Martyn Desperques was beaten in the first frame of the match.
The record-breaking visit began after de Garis had potted the first red but played a mistimed safety shot, allowing Shorto in.
